It is with profound sorrow that I share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our president at Gratia Vobis Ministries, Paul Verderber.
Paul died yesterday, Nov. 29, at 6:17 p.m., surrounded by his beloved wife, Mary Ann, their two daughters, Alice and Elisa, their husbands, and two grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Lisa, and his mother-in-law, Alice, whom he cared for with the devotion of a son.
Those closest to him now carry a grief beyond words. For more than a decade, Paul was not only a colleague but also a dear friend. We struggled together, traveled together, prayed together, and shared moments of sorrow, joy, and grace. His passing wounds me deeply, and I know it would for many of you.

Paul served as president of Gratia Vobis Ministries for six years. He was an accomplished engineer, worked in B2B companies, and lived a life of humble service. During his time as GVM president, he lifted our spirits and gave the ministry everything he had.
Honor Him
I share this notice so that all who were touched by his life may know that our pillar, collaborator, mentor, family member, and friend has gone to the Lord. I will communicate funeral arrangements once I speak with the family.
In honor of Paul’s extraordinary service to humanity and witness to Christ, we’ll create a dedicated page on our website where those who knew him can share memories (video, audio, image, or text) and testify to the ways he impacted lives.
Let us remember a man who lived as Christ calls us to live and who died in faithful service to God.
May his gentle soul rest in peace. Amen. May God grant Mary Ann and the family grace and courage to bear the loss. Amen.
